I am so excited that Stampin’ Up! has released their gorgeous Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies early so that we can all enjoy these fun dies for not only our Christmas crafting but for all year round projects. Today I wanted to share with you some of the cards I have been creating and, because I know you will ask, I also have a video on my version of the Pop and Twist card that seems to be in fashion at the moment.
This first card features the Remarkable You stamp set from Stampin’ Up! and allowed me to do a little water colouring which I love but don’t do nearly enough of.
My version of the Pop and Twist card is made with dimensions that showcase the shapes in the Stitched Shapes Framelits set perfectly. The largest square in the set is just the perfect matting size and then you can also add a circle if you like for an extra ‘wow’ with very little effort.
This is the super simple birthday card I made for my video tutorial and it even features the Stitched Shapes Framelits on the front of the card … love it!
This time I used the smaller Stitched Shaped framelit square and layered it onto DSP for my pop out panels. You can see that these framelits work just as well with floral (more feminine projects) as they do with bright fun cards. I just love them!
There are loads of videos showing how to make the Pop and Twist card but thought I would share my version with you as well. I hope you try this card if you haven’t yet, they are loads of fun and really not too difficult.
