Stampin’ Up! Hamburger Box Die

Stampin' Up! Stamping T! - Blackberry Bliss Hamburger Box

I am so excited to share this little project with you today as I am always a big fan of 3D creations so knew that I would love the new Hamburger Box Bigz Die from Stampin’ Up!  My die arrived two days ago and I have been itching to see what I could come up with from this little guy but first I had to make at least one creation exactly as it was intended so this cute little Blackberry Bliss box is what I made.  This came together sooo quickly and really all I did was add a little Hello Honey card stock to the lid with a piece of the new Moonlight DSP.  The greeting is from the Amazing Birthday Stamp Set and I used the Hello Honey marker pen to colour the little sections around the outside of the greeting.  The cute little flowers on the front are from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and as a fan of all things Itty Bitty this set is going to get a BIG workout from me, the flower centers are basic pearls which I coloured using the darkest colour in my Rich Razzzleberry Blendabilities which thought was close enough to work with the Blackberry Bliss.

Now I know that this is cute enough on it’s own and certainly worthy of purchasing the die BUT those that know me know I love to get that little ‘extra’ from my Stampin’ Up! products especially those big purchases so I was determined to get more from this die and decided that the first thing was a bigger gift box and here is a photo of both sizes so you can see the comparison.

Stampin' Up! Stamping T! - Supersized and Normal Hamburger Box

This Supersized Hamburger Box is made in Crumb Cake card stock and has the ‘burst’ from the Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set stamped over it in Mossy Meadow ink (tip bests to stamp before you cut out rather than after like I did).  You do need a belly band for this type of box to cover the ‘secret’ but ribbon and DSP works perfectly.  The new Tangelo Twist Stitched Satin Ribbon looks beautiful on this box and I finished the gift off by using one of the two tags that comes with the Hamburger Box die and just stamped the greeting from the Work of Art Stamp Set on Crumb Cake with more Mossy Meadow ink.

By now I know you are wondering if I have instructions for this box and of course I do!  I have a video tutorial for you which also includes some assembly tips.  I really hope you enjoy this and I have another project for this die ready for filming today so hopefully another idea on it’s way for you soon.

I absolutely loved your video on making the larger hamburger box. I do an extended version of the favor box (ret) the same way, and never thought of using it for this box too. Thanks for your great ideas. Your boxes are very special when decorated, too.
