I have been having so much fun with my newest creation, a Mini Sandwich Gift Box. This little project has been on my ‘drafting board’ since Christmas and I am soooo sooooo soooo glad to have finally finished and perfected this little one! As with a lot of my ideas I was inspired by something I saw …. well it was really something I ate LOL! Over christmas we had lunch at a Service Station whilst travelling around (like most people do) and I grabbed some sandwiches in a takeaway box. I loved the shape of the box but was so frustrated trying to get my sandwiches out that I thought it might be neat if they had a perforated front to open the box …… I will spare you the details of my long winded creative journey and skip to the good part.
I created this sandwich box with a fun perforated opening and also using our new Tag Topper range of punches from Stampin’ Up! This version I am sharing today is for Valentine’s Day which is right around the corner and one that I created to play along with the Stampin’ Celebration! challenge this month. There is a tutorial available in my Tutorial Store, it is on the second page under ‘Mini Sandwich Box’. I will come back tomorrow and post the ‘Easter’ version I have (which was actually the first one I made once I got the measurements just right). I do have a video on how it opens on my YouTube challenge but I will also pop in a link to that video in my post tomorrow!
