Just some scraps of DSP

Look at what I made with literally some scraps of Designer Series Paper!  I have seen this technique around for a while and of course it has been in that never-ending pile of ideas/techniques I need to try.  So armed with this week’s colour challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments and the sketch from Craft Project Central I was ready to finally try my hand at this technique.

The flower cut into the centre of the Crumb Cake card stock is from the Blossom Party Die and the DSP I used to fill in the flower were scraps from from a number of different packs of paper (inc. Beau Chateau, Paisley Petals).  Each scrap was sponged with a little Crumb Cake ink to help tie them all together.  I finished the flower off with an Antique Brad (love these!) and then used the border and flower stamp from the Fresh Vintage stamp set, which is one of the free Sale-A-Bration sets, to add some extra details.

I love the little flower in the Fresh Vintage set so just had to add extras to the envelope and inside the card …
