Flourish Acrylic Block Stamping

Another fun and super easy technique to share as part of my Exclusive Craft-T-Crew Technique Club – this time it is an old favourite “Acrylic Block Stamping”.  This technique is so easy and every time you stamp the block you get a different (an unique) background for your card.  One you create your background you can either stamp a focal image on it using black ink or, like I did for this card, you can use dies to add an accent image.

For this card I cut out the Flourish image from the Flourish Thinlit Dies from Stampin’Up! and removed the cut out image, I replaced the image with another one cut from Basic Black card stock to add a pop of colour and I love it.  This card is one of the first ones that I have never put a greeting on the front of and it was indeed a little strange but I just really liked how it all looked so balanced that I decided to instead add my Happy Birthday greeting to the inside.

A stunning and yet so simple creation and the best bit is I have that wonderful coloured flourish image cut-out to use on another card!
