ESAD – Retirement Blog Hop

Welcome to another fabulous ESAD Blog Hop!

Today we are doing a ‘last hoorah’ to a few of our Stampin’ Up! favourites that will be leaving us in little over a month’s time (31st May 2017).

One of the things I always get a little sad about seeing go are the fabulous Dies from Stampin’ Up! so today I decided to make a card with a couple of my favourites that won’t be returning in the new Annual Catalogue.

This is a really simple little card that I made using the Tags & Labels Framelits as well as the Botanical Builder Framelits.  I cut out each of the little tags using a different piece of the Affectionately Yours Specialty DSP.  I then took four of the smaller images from the Botanical Builder set and cut out the center of seven of the tags.  The tag in the center I left untouched as it uses the lovely specialty copper paper from the DSP pack and the last tag is embossing in Copper Embossing Powder using the greeting from the retiring Designer Tin of Cards stamp set.

I used dimensionals to attach each of the tags.  You will see some tags have the center filled in directly, some have a piece of cardstock directly behind the cut out window and some are raised with the background filled on the card front (I used copper foil and some of the retiring Affectionately Yours Washi Tape).  Mixing and matching the centers, the backgrounds and the dimension really gives this card that extra little bit of interest.
