I am so excited to be sharing this fun project with you today as part of the ESAD 2016 Annual Catalogue Blog Hop! I have loads of fun new Stampin’ Up! products featured in my Hot Chocolate Gift Box and coordinating note card, let’s get into it!
This cute little gift box is so simple to make and just the perfect size to hold a hot chocolate stick, a Lindt chocolate as well as some mini marshmallows … the perfect winter warming treat!
The Pop of Pink Specialty DSP is just amazing and for this project I only used the Melon Mambo and Gold Specialty sheets to match the contents of my gift.
The new Layering Squares Framelits Dies are a fantastic way to add windows to gift boxes so you can see all the goodies inside, which are often just a pretty as the box! I love how they all layer together so perfectly. To finish the box I embossed a little greeting from the ‘Oh Happy Day’ Card Kit with Gold Embossing powder, attaching it with a Stampin’ Dimensional allows for it to also act as a closure using a little Melon Mambo Twine.
The great thing about this box is not only how easy it is to make but also the fact that it lays flat for storage, meaning I can make a few to have on hand and they take up no space at all!
Of course every gift needs a coordinating card and I used some more of the Pop of Pink DSP to make a mini shaker card to continue the style and theme of the gift box. I am totally in love with the new Foam Adhesive Strips and find myself making more shaker cards than ever now. The new Sprinkles punch creates perfect little additions for the shaker, for this card I used Gold Foil and some scrap Melon Mambo.
I hope you enjoyed my project today, please be sure to continue on in the Hop to see what Maree has created.
