Envelope Punch Board Matchbox Gift

Stampin' Up! Stamping T! - EPB Matchbox side

This super easy little matchbox is created using the Envelope Punch Board from Stampin’ Up! to create the tray. I created this project for two challenges this week, the first is the Late Night Stamper challenge to use ‘non-traditional’ Christmas colours so I have gone with Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo to create this Christmas gift.

My sister has been making loads of Crochet jewellery and I wanted to give a pair of earrings for a Christmas gift so selected a nice hot pink pair for a friend of mine and made the box to suit it.

Wenna is just getting started with her creations and you can see some more on her blog at Wen Crocheting.  I will be giving some more of these earrings away for gifts this year, love them!

I did say that this was for two challenges and the other is the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.  I used the sketch below to decorate the top of my gift box.

Now you are probably going to want to make one of these boxes for yourself right?  Well, I have done a quick video tutorial for you here ….

Lovely idea – what score lines & dimensions would I use if I’m trying to make a matchbox similar to the ones we buy? I think the dimensions of the completed drawer are 2.5″ x 1.75″ (6.5cm x 3.5cm)
