Today’s share is another version of some cute A6 notecards that I have been having a lot of fun making lately. I also wanted to share how I make a little holder that fits at least six of these cards with envelops.
The holder is super easy to put together and can be made from a standard piece of A4 card stock. I have made a quick video tutorial for you which is at the bottom of this post.
This set of cards is based on the Designer Tees Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! which you can get for FREE during Sale-A-Bration. The fun greetings in the set make it just perfect for little note cards.
My note cards are made just by cutting a standard piece of cardstock into four pieces – and folding each piece in half. You can actually make all the cards and the holder from 3 pieces of card stock – how awesome is that!
Each of the cards is so simple, using only a piece of DSP and a coordinating piece of one of the current Stampin’ Up! In-Colours as a matt.
One little tip I would also like to share is that you can save on your card stock even more if you punch out your ‘badge’ shape from the matting piece before you assemble you card
-no one knows it is missing when you put it all together.
Each of the greetings is stamped onto scrap Whisper White cardstock and punched out with a circle punch – even the train one, you just have to add the little “I think I can” back over the top.
The cards look great either portrait or landscape and really come together so simply and easy with only a few supplies.
I made the envelopes for each card using a piece of 6″ square paper and my Stampin’ Up! Envelop Punch Board. Hope you enjoy the video and enjoy making this for yourself.
