Day at the Beach Xmas Card

I love Christmas time in Australia we have sun, surf, beaches, hot days and warm nights!  Certainly nothing like what is depicted in your typical Christmas cards, so I loved that Stampin’ Up! introduced the amazing Day at the Beach Stamp Set for us in the warmer parts of the world.  This stamp set is so cute and has loads of super cute images that, with a little imagination, you can fashion into a fun Aussie Christmas Tree.  I decided to stamp all the main images in Garden Green ink with the star fish in Crushed Curry – it makes the perfect star for the top of my non-traditional tree!  I found I had a little space in my tree and found that the flower image in the Biggest Birthday Ever stamp set worked in lovely in Cherry Cobbler ink.

I love my simple Aussie Christmas tree and decided pretty quickly it was the perfect Christmas Card to send to all my Stampin’ Up! customers that have purchased goodies with me this year!  Yes, I made a LOT of these cards and my Stamp-a-ma-jig certainly got a HUGE workout LOL!  I left the fronts of the card without a greeting but did pop a ‘Merry Christmas’ on the inside (forgot to take a photo of that before I mailed them all off!).

Each year, along with the Christmas cards, I also sent a range of different gifts to my customers to thank them for their support throughout 2016 and here is just a small selection of the things I sent.  I love being able to shower my customers with thank-you gifts and Christmas is just the perfect time of year for gift giving!
