Colour INKspiration #15

Time for another fabulous colour challenge for the Colour INKspiration Facebook group and these colours are sensational.

There are some amazing projects (as always) from the Colour INKspiration Crew this week and you probably have arrived here from the talented Lou Kitzelman?’s blog and making your way around this great Blog Hop.

Who knew how well Elegant Eggplant, Bermuda Bay, Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party could work together, certainly not a combination I think I would have ever chanced.

For my card this fortnight not only did I use the colours to create this fabulous card as my monthly Customer Thank You Cards but I also took my inspiration from the image.  There was something about that gorgeous door that I just couldn’t resist.  Now you may be wondering where that lattice work panel has come from … or you may have already worked it out.

The lattice piece in the Eclectic Layers Thinlits can be repeatedly cut to create large panels of lattice and it is so so so easy to do! You may also be wondering where I got my black accents from – well with the help of a standard black sharpie permanent marker I was able to turn my Stampin’ Up! White Perfect Accents into Basic Black ones which finished off my cards perfectly.

Now it is time to head over to the blog of our wonderful Guest Design Erin Gunson who has a beautiful creation to share with you.
