Birthday Bouquet DSP Caddy

Stampin' Up! Stamping T! - Birthday Bouquet DSP Caddy

Like a lot of Stampin’ Up! fans out there I am a self-confessed DSP hoarder!  I love the Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! and continue to buy almost every design that comes out and continue to find it incredibly hard to cut it!

I know a lot of you will totally understand this, whilst others may think “What is the point of buying it if you won’t use it?”.  It is not that I don’t want to use it, it is more that I will often try to find just the right project for it to show off all the wonderful designs and patterns and just how well they all work together.  For me, I have had the Birthday Bouquet DSP from the Occasions Catalogue since early January this year and just loved it so much I kept putting it back in the drawer.

Well, with this gorgeous paper about to retire in a couple of days I decided to use it to decorate a new craft caddy for my new craft room and I absolutely love how it shows off this stunning paper to it’s full potential.  This has to be one of the prettiest papers I have every owned and now I have none left 🙁 … okay I will confess I am about to order just one or two more pack before it is all gone.

What are you going to miss from the catalogues finishing in a couple of days?  What is on your last minute order to get before they are gone?

You’ve showed a picture of this great caddy but you don’t mention anything about it……are you going to share a tutorial?

I love your project. Is this made all from cardstock? I found a Kaisercraft caddy made from MDF. I was wondering if you used the caddy and just covered it with DSP or if you made this all from cardstock. Hope you can share more.

      Hi Charlene
Yes this is a MDF Kaisercraft caddy … Treated myself! But also never thought to make it from card stock … Might have a go at that though!

Hi Tanya, the caddy looks great & one of my fav DSPs too. What adhesive did you use to adhere the paper? Thanks for sharing. Mary

Mary I just use good old Mod Podge … it works really well and if you like you can add a layer over the top to protect the project.
