Baby Card – PCC236

For those that watched my Paper Weaving video last week you may recognise the “Hi” on the front of this little 4″ square note card.  When I made the video for the Colour INKspiration post here I really hadn’t planned how I would use the sample I demonstrated for the video and in-fact I was really stumped as to how to use this gorgeous paper woven hi.  That was until I had a look at the Paper Craft Crew sketch Challenge for this week and it was a perfect solution.

A friend of mine has just had her first baby and I wanted to send her a little card so decided to combine my paper woven “Hi” with the “little one” sentiment from the Feather Together stamp set from Stampin’ Up! – perfect!  Fortunately the colours in my paper weaving were the perfect baby colours so with the help of the fabulous sketch I was able to get this card finished in no time.  I was afraid I was never going to find a home for my “Hi”.  If you missed the instructions on how to paper weave they are in my previous blog post here.

What a great card Tanya! I love the weaving technique you used to get the “hi” on the front. Thanks for playing along with us at the Paper Craft Crew! Christyne – DT.

  2. This is a beautiful card, Tanya! What soft and subtle colors and that weaved accent in the middle is just so unique! Thanks for joining us at the Paper Craft Crew this week, but hey, you should enter your card at Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration this week too because their theme is paper weaving! Good luck! Crystal, DT

  3. I love your “Hi”, that’s so clever Tanya and I’m so glad you found a home for it on our sketch this week. Such a unique card. Thank you for joining us this week at the Paper Craft Crew. Carolyn xx
